Staged within the creative atmosphere of the Nyinkka Nyunyu
Cultural Centre, this event should not be missed. Hip Hop
and Theatrical workshops conducted in recent weeks culminate
in a masterful performance, a story of the dreamtime, featuring
spectacular puppets and traditional dance.

MULTICULTURAL NIGHT

Dinner: $10 Adults $5 Children
A gold coin donation would be appreciated.
As the name suggests, this evening provides a multicultural
experience. It's an evening of family entertainment, provided
by professional artists and local talent. The line-up includes:
Long Tails, Iris Street, Filipino Customary Dancing, Tennant
Creek schools and Line Dancing. Meals and beverages will
be available for purchase at the venue. |

Ajak Kwai performs her songs of the timeless traditions
of her native people, the Dinka of Southern Sudan. Her unique
vocal style is distinctly Saharan as she sings songs of

STREET PARADE & MARKETS
Street Parade departing Civic Hall at 5pm.
Markets at Nyinkka Nyunyu from 6pm.
No Entry Fees
The parade will travel along Peko Rd to Paterson St, and
continue along Paterson St to Nyinkka Nyunyu.
The street parade is traditionally one of the most inclusive
events of the festival, and this year is no exception.
Themed "The Barkly Our Story" categories include:
Biggest, Loudest, Barkly Icon, Barkly Bike and Barkly
Youth.

QUIZ NIGHT- The Barkly Our Story
Commencing 7pm sharp
Venue: Tennant Creek Civic Centre
Tickets: $5 per person
Themed Barkly Our Story, you may want to brush up on your
general knowledge about the region and bring a table of
your smartest friends!
Tables hold a maximum 6 people so choose your play-mates
carefully!
